Big Creek Lodge was originally built in the 1930’s in Idaho’s back country. Pilots and outdoor enthusiasts have enjoyed it for years until it burned to the ground in 2008. Now, a group of pilots and supporters is working to rebuild Big Creek. I support this effort, in fact I just made a donation to the cause. So far, over 1/2 of the estimated cost has been raised. I hope you will read about this effort and consider making a donation as well.
I plan to visit the Big Creek Lodge this summer on my way to Alaska. Perhaps by next summer, we can make a reservation to stay for a few days. Here are some links that will help you understand the history and significance of supporting this effort.
