Tres Clinton

Tres Clinton joined ProMark Aviation Services as a flight instructor in 2009.

After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management in 2008, he worked with the Aviation department for 2 years as a flight instructor. While attending OU, he served on the Student Advisory Board, interned with the FAA in Oklahoma City, and received the Arinc Scholarship, which was the largest departmental scholarship awarded.

In 2010 Tres enlisted with the Texas Army National Guard and worked with the Combat Aviation Brigade as a Fire Support Specialist liaison between the AH-64 Apache and Artillery. He deployed in 2013 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Tres is our primary float plane instructor and is working towards his MEI in his Twin Comanche. With over 2800 hours and 9 years of being a CFI, Tres is excited to be associated with a flight training program that features scenario based training. He realizes the importance of training pilots in proper decision making as well as basic piloting skills. Tres holds an FAA Single and Multi Engine Land Commercial Certificate, Single Engine Seaplane, CFI and CFII.

Tres mainly provides primary and advanced instruction in the PA-18 Super Cub as well as the PA-12 Amphibian. He also can provide Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial and CFI training.  His goals our to help grow ProMark Aviation and to be dedicated to the aviation training industry.

Tres lives in his hometown of Burnet with his wife Caity and their two beautiful little baby girls, Mia who is 2 and brand new Piper born in December.  He plans on staying in this great community that is ideal for the type of flying he enjoys.tres2
